Access Groups “How to Win in Life”

Ever feel like you are losing at life? (And I mean that in a metaphorical sense, not the board game sense!) Then Access Groups have just the thing for you!  “How to Win in Life” is the new six week series that will start the week of January 5th.  Access groups run in six week increments in homes around the greater Orlando area.  This is a great time to find a group near you and jump in on the first series of the year.  After this initial 6 weeks, we will take a break and come back for another six week series.  So hold off on any New Year’s resolutions until you have looked at how God wants you to “Win in Life”! Call the church or see an Access Group leader for locations and more information.

Men’s Bowling

It’s bowling time! Grab your best bowling shirt and head on down to SkyBowl on Orange Blossom Trail. Saturday, January 10 @1pm is the time! We have two lanes reserved. The cost is $10 per person to bowl and shoe rental is extra (if you have your own bowling shoes we would love to see them!). Each lane is getting a pitcher of soda and a bowl of popcorn included. You can’t beat that! Watch for the next men’s outing…coming soon!

Communion

This Sunday, January 18th we will be serving communion.  This happens every six weeks at God’s House so if you happen to miss it this time, check back in another six weeks.  We have open communion facilitated by Pastor Sammy Pawlak.  This is also a beautiful way to start off the New Year by remembering the Lord’s Supper.  Please come and join us for this beautiful remembrance.

Baptism

God’s House will baptizing people after the Sunday morning service.  We will be going to a home with a pool close to the church.  If you have never been baptized before and are interested, please see Pastor Sammy or Pastor Steve Goodner for more information.  ”Swimming Lessons” is a class that meets the week before for biblical instruction and to answer questions.
