Communion

This Sunday, March 1st we will be serving communion.  This happens every six weeks at God’s House so if you happen to miss it this time, check back in another six weeks.  We have open communion facilitated by Pastor Sammy Pawlak.  Remembering the Lord’s Supper is a great way to start the month of March as we have just finished a month of fasting in February!  Please come and join us!

Access Groups-”Build Strong Faith”

We all know “Milk…it does a body good!”  It builds strong teeth and bones.  March kicks off our next 6 week series on  learning how to build your faith .  Access Groups are small groups that meet in homes in and around the greater Orlando area.  Check one out for an opportunity to get know someone new, have some snacks, and build strong faith.  “Faith….it does a body good!”

Daylight Savings Time

…”and on the 7th day God said, ‘Let there be Daylight savings”
Reminder we’re springing forward into Spring on Sunday, March 8th with Daylight Savings time!   So set your clock forward one hour…or show up late and use the solitude to have your own time of personal reflection…

House Cleaning!

Re-Model time!  Calling all DIY’s!  God’s House is changing and we need all the help we can get.  We will be moving the sound booth, building a new coffee bar, painting, cleaning, and all around sprucing up!  Wear your work clothes to church, grab a bite to eat afterwards and head back to the church to pitch in!  If you can sweep a broom, we have a job for you!  Heck, we’ll even find something for your kids to do!  Snacks and drinks will be provided.

Swimming Lessons

Baptism is happening next week!  This is your chance to come and make sure you know how to “swim”!  Pastor Steve Goodner will be meeting with all people interested in being baptized before church.  He will answer all your burning questions on why be baptied, what to bring, and what to expect.  If you are not sure if you would sink or swim, then this is the class for you!

Special Speaker-Mariusz Muszcynski

Mariusz Muszcynski (sounds like it’s spelled)  is our very special speaker.  Come learn about his amazing church planting in Poland…and why those Polish people have weird last names like …Pawlak…sheesh!

Element Youth

Element is for youth from 6th grade through High School.  They meet every other Sunday with Meg Wasik.  They start in the church service for Praise and Worship and then move on to their own room with fun and discussion just for them.  This Sunday join Meg Wasik and the Element kids for a great time!

Baptism

After church will be baptism with Pastor Sammy Pawlak.  Meet at Rod and Debbie Harter’s house after church.  “Swimming Lessons” are the week before to answer all your questions as to why be baptized, what to expect, and what to bring.  There will be some light refreshments after this great experience!  Invite your family and friends to come along and celebrate with you.  See Pastor Sammy or call the church if you are interested.
